Gina discovered the GYROKINESIS® method during her professional career and found the work to be extremely healing and a valuable compliment to her dance technique. After meeting and working with Dominika Borovonsky Gaines, she became inspired to teach at Kinesphere Center for Movement Education, joining the staff in the fall of 2016. Gina holds a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from the University of Arizona and shares her passion for movement with all of her clients.
Gina Sproviero, is a Pilates and GYROTONIC® Educator. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago and a Master of Science in Dietetics from Loyola University. After rehabilitating an injury with Pilates, Gina fell in love with the power of movement to alleviate pain. She received her first Pilates certification in 2002 through PhysicalMind Institute and continued her education, receiving a certification in 2003 from Stott Pilates.
Around that time, Gina discovered the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® and was amazed at the changes she saw in clients’ bodies, joints, postures and movement. She decided to pursue her Gyrotonic training, becoming certified in the method in 2004, added certification on the Jumping-Stretching Board in 2013 and has completed Gyrotonic Applications for the Hip & Knee.
Gina has personally experienced how the different linear (Pilates) and circular (Gyrotonic) movements have changed her own body, but through a decade of teaching, it is seeing these benefits in others that she finds most fulfilling.

During recovery Isabelle studied under Jill Miller, the founder of Yoga Tune Up® and the Roll Model® Method and changed her teaching to focus on stability, controlling range of motion and building strength. Isabelle’s classes incorporate self-massage and myofascial release techniques using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls and are designed to better acquaint you with your musculature and the structures of your body. She also focuses on improved breathing and decreasing stress. Isabelle is currently completing the pre-requisites to apply for a physical therapy doctorate program.
Dawn Ryan, Expert Educator, has been teaching movement for over 17 years. Her passion for movement began very young; as a child she was a gymnast and later transferred into dance. This interest in movement continued through college, where Dawn received her BS in Exercise Physiology, and she has been exploring studies of the body ever since.
After being exposed to Pilates, Dawn shifted her focus to mind- body and holistic movement modalities and became a fully certified Stott Pilates instructor. While teaching in a Pilates Training Center, Dawn was introduced to GYROTONIC®. She was instantly drawn to this beautiful movement system. She received both GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS® certification. Dawn followed this passion onto the specialized equipment, certifying on the Jumping-Stretch Board. For her, being introduced to these movement systems was life-changing.
After becoming becoming a mother, Dawn expanded her holistic teachings to include life coaching. She is a certified life coach with the Quantum Success Life Coaching Academy. Most recently, Dawn has become a certified Goddess Yoga instructor.

Always curious about the body and testing its physical limitations, she could almost always be found climbing to the top of large trees, figure skating, or dancing. Her thirst for a deeper conception of movement led her to study dance at Scottsdale Community College where she was introduced to Pilates by Dominika Borovansky Gaines in 1996. After suffering a serious hip injury in 1999, she found pain relief while studying Gyrotonic exercise under Dominika’s instruction. Lisa continued her studies in dance and earned a BFA in Dance Education from Arizona State University in 2001. She became a certified Gyrotonic Instructor in 2002 and earned a Pilates Certificate from Long Beach Dance Conditioning (LBDC) in 2003. In 2013, she discovered Restorative Exercise, an alignment-focused movement system, and earned her certification under Nutritious Movement™ founder and biomechanist Katy Bowman. Following the lead of LBDC and SmartSpine© founder Marie Jose’ Blom, Lisa continues to cultivate her intense focus on the development of deep core strength and the integration of biomechanics into movement instruction.

Lisa is certified in Pilates & Restorative Exercise and utilizes a lot of Neurokinetic Therapy® and Z-Health in her instruction. Lisa has always been interested in movement: first as a very young dancer, then as an aide in a physical therapy clinic, and now as a teacher of dance, Pilates and Restorative Exercise. Though her path to Pilates was anything but direct, Lisa’s varied experiences have all shaped how she currently thinks about movement and dance.
After receiving her BS in Mathematics from the University of Puget Sound in 2002, Lisa returned to her first love, dance, and began searching for a way to combine her passion for science with dance. She took numerous courses in anatomy and kinesiology to further her knowledge of these subjects, and she applied this knowledge while working at a physical therapy clinic. It was during this time that Lisa was first introduced to Pilates. As a dancer, Lisa quickly recognized the benefits of Pilates as a conditioning program, and she appreciates the qualities of Pilates that improve well-being, such as breath, mental focus, and the resulting increase in body awareness. After receiving her MFA in Dance from Arizona State University, Lisa decided to pursue her certification in Pilates, and she completed her comprehensive training with Karen Clippinger through Body Arts and Science International in 2008. Since then, Lisa has taught Pilates at Kinesphere in Phoenix, Arizona, along with many dance courses at Grand Canyon University and Scottsdale Community College.
In 2013, Lisa furthered her knowledge of biomechanical principles through her certification as a Restorative Exercise Specialist through Nutritious Movement™. Her most recent studies focus on the role of the nervous system in movement and health, and she is currently an R-Phase & I-Phase Trainer through Z-Health. Lisa’s teaching combines her knowledge of biomechanics and neuroscience with her previous dance and Pilates experiences to enhance and improve health and well-being.
