Core Intelligence, Long Beach Dance Conditioning’s intensive 30-hour “pre-Pilates” course, is excellent for practicing instructors or movement therapists interested in expanding their knowledge and improving the efficiency of their tactile and verbal cueing. It is also a prerequisite for LBDC's Pilates Leadership Concepts, an elite professional teacher training for certification program.
LBDC Certified Teacher and GYROTONIC® instructor Lisa Peterson Perry will teach the course. A unique PowerPoint presentation will thoroughly illustrate the musculature and biomechanics of the core system, while students will apply their knowledge in labs as instructors and clients. The course fee includes an extensive manual and a certificate of completion; Pilates Method Alliance and ACE continuing education credits will also be granted to practicing instructors.
